globe in the 70's. The
Boney M. SF concert features hits from the band’s
legendary career
and will
feature state of the art lighting, special effects, and of
course,
the
original lead vocalist Marcia Barrett! Marcia Barrett wishes to
create
a special
welcoming atmosphere for the fans of Boney M. and for the all music
lovers in
which to enjoy the concert together. Doors open

Marcia Barrett is the original lead vocalist
with the prominent pop vocal
group,
Boney M. Born in Jamaica and raised and educated in England,
Marcia
Barrett
first found fame as a soloist in Germany in the early 70’s.
In 1975 she
joined the
now legendary Boney M. She contributed her powerful
and
distinctive voice to all
recordings.
Marcia Barrett was a lead singer
on
numerous tracks such as
"Lovin or Leavin”,
“Belfast”, “King of the Road”,
“Take the Heat off Me”, “Never Change
Lovers
in the Middle of the
Night”,
"Silent Lover", “No Time to
Lose”, and “Don’t Kill the
World”.
Founded in West Germany in 1975, Boney M's phenomenal career took off with
the second single “Daddy Cool” followed by “Sunny”, “Ma Baker” and “Belfast”.
The four original members of the group's official line-up were Bobby Farrell,
Marcia Barrett, Liz Mitchell, and Maizie Williams. Boney M sold
more
than 140
million records and collected more than 800 golden, platinum, and
silver discs.
In 1978 Boney M had the distinct
honor of performing for
Queen Elizabeth II, and
became
the very first pop group from the
West to perform in the USSR.
Boney M
appeared twice in the
Guinness book of records, pertaining to record sales.
Boney M. was not only the Disco
cult band of the 70’s, but remains
a living legend in the music history.

during the past years has proven that their hits definitely belong
